Ebony Knitting Needles – Complete Buying Guide & Reviews

A very dense hardwood encompassing several species, predominantly from the Diospyros genus. Known it’s glossy finish when polished and dark color, it has a long history for being highly prized as an ornamental wood.

The use of ebony is restricted due to its being a threatened species, and many natural stocks are depleted. As a result, most knitting needles made from this wood are second hand and leftover stocks from previous manufacturing results.

This is excellent as you can still enjoy using needles made from this beautiful wood without cutting down another tree. Read on for my reviews of the best available.
