I’m not sure if it fits the criteria for this list, but FruityKniting.com is very good. They share their love for knitting and share triumphs as well challenges they may have encountered with their projects. Also they interview other artists such as knitters, designers, dyers, and even wool producers. This blog is a joint effort of Andrew and Andrea, a husband and wife team .
Thanks so much for sharing this Eldonna. We will certainly check out Andrea and Andrew’s knitting blog. So glad you’ve found several knitting blogs to read from our list. We are so thankful there are so many passionate knitters out there. Cheers Jodie 🙂
Hi I came to this amazing list via Karen Templer and her wonderful Fringe Association blog. I can’t wait to get lost in some of these new-to-me blogs, thanks. Where are the African Americans?
Hi Jenifer. This list is improved by all about our lovely readers suggestions and we’d love to hear yours. Hit us up with your favorites. Thanks for being part of the fun 🙂
A lot of great blogs. I can’t believe that Gaye Glasspie of ggmadeit.com did not make the list. She shares wonderful patterns great yarn finds and her love of all things orange. You should definitely check her out!
Thanks Yolanda 🙂 Wow! Just checked out Gaye Glasspie’s blog ggmadeit.com and can’t believe we missed her either. Excellent suggestion, thank you very much. If you have any other favorites, we’d love to hear them. Thanks very much for making this post even better! We hope that all the wonderful, hardworking bloggers get lots of exposure.
I can’t believe GG Made It was not on the list!
GG connects with her audience when sharing her triumphs and challenges with us, and talks of how knitting provides a source of comfort for her. Not only is her written blog awesome (and the photos–OMG) but her live streaming presence connects her more intimately to her followers. Even though I don’t know GG personally, she feels like family.
GG is hot right know, she’s been recently featured twice on the front page of Ravelry and in Knit Scene magazine.
Hi Chandra. Wow! GG Made It sounds perfect for this list. Another wonderful, hard working blogger added to the post. Make sure you let us know if you have any other suggestions 🙂
What a wonderful list! Thanks for sharing. I found several that I will be checking out., I would like to see you guys add GGMadeit.com to your list. Her blog is awesome, she talks about how she uses knitting as a form of therapy, she shares information and her blog is very educational.
Hi Zelodius. That’s perfect, another vote for GG Made It 🙂 Thanks very much for letting us know. Be sure to share any more favorites.
While I’ve known the basics of knitting for a very long time, it wasn’t until more recently that I’ve actually decided to get back into knitting. All because of a blogger by the name of Gaye Glasspie aka GGmadeit aka GG. She offered a class that I took to support a friend who was new to knitting and has successfully learned how to knit from GG’s class. GGmadeit definitely should be on this list.
What exactly is the criteria for this list? It’s great to see there are a few men knitters listed her. However, I find it interesting that on a list of 100 there is not one (1) of an African American blogger?? (or did I miss it?)
Please check out https://ggmadeit.com/blog/ – She has been featured on the front page of Raverly three times, and was featured in the Fall issue of Knitscene magaine’s “Blog Spotting”. How did you all miss her blog – inquiring minds would like to know.

And all the other readers who got in touch with us with their suggestions. This list will be continually improved based on readers favorites. So thanks for your contribution. Please do let us know if you have any other knitting bloggers that should be featured here too.
Ggmadeit.com had to be an oversight! This blog is informative and so inspirational for me as an aspiring knitter (in my head)! GG is a warm, transparent spirit who shares knitting as a therapeutic part of her daily life. She always delivers beautiful projects that helps me to believe in my up and coming skills. She also gives awesome reviews!!! So worthy of the list!!!!
Hi KQ. Another wonderful, hard working knitting blogger added to the list. Excellent suggestion! Thank you very much for taking the time. Any more suggestions? 🙂

No Knitters Review or Indie Untangled?
Hi Carol. Thanks for the suggestions 🙂 Keep them coming!
Would love to see Clara Parkes’ Knitters Review, which does indispensable reviews of yarn and tools, and Indie Untangled, which is a great resource for discovering and learning more about indie dyers.
Hi Carol. These sound like great additions to the list. Thanks very much for the suggestions. Off to check them out now. Thank you 🙂 Jodie

Thank you for such a fabulous list and for including me. I wanted to tell you about Yardsofhappiness.com. The owner is Dana also known as DWJ! Why I think her blog is worthy is because her sweater knitting game is second to none. She makes me feel like I can make beautiful sweaters like she does.
Hi Gaye. We are so glad that some of your lovely readers told us about you. Looking through your blog, I can’t believe we missed you!! We will definitely check out Dana at Yards Of Happiness. So good to know that knitting bloggers find inspiration in each other. Thank you. Jodie 🙂
I’d like to suggest another blogger, Donna Druchunas, who is helping give voice to diverse knitters: https://sheeptoshawl.com/category/druchunas-donna-knitting-blog/
And I can’t help but also include my blog, where I also interview diverse knitters, crocheters, and bloggers like GG: https://www.knitsallfolks.com/

What a terrific list! Thanks for all the research you did, plus the design is gorgeous.
Did you have Franklin Habit’s “Friday’s with Franklin” on your list, or did I miss it? Franklin is so charming whether he is pursuing vintage patterns, chatting with his (imaginary) sheep friend and her ball of yarn sidekick, or just writing or illustrating about his life with yarn.
I didn’t see Jean Miles of Jean’s Knitting or The Rainey sisters unless I missed them. Your list might change from 100 to 200. Great list and I would love to add more but so many people that used to blog only blog once in a great while if at all anymore. There was another list about knitters years and years ago and that is where I discovered new blogs and with this new list I will discover some more new ones. Thank you for making this list.

I have attended a knitting weekend in an amazing venue last year and going back this 2019 too. For anyone who fancies learning new skills from professional crafters and knitters, they’re called Les Soeurs Anglaises and this is their website : https://www.lessoeursanglaises.com/
They regularly blog about their new creations and workshops and send a very informative and entertaining newsletter.

Amazing work putting this list together – bravo for highlighting so many inspiring knitters from around the world! I would ask to also consider adding Petra Breakstone as a knit designer. I met her a few years ago and have enjoyed making several of her designs. https://www.instagram.com/petrabreakstone/
