Oscar-winning actor Russell Crowe took up knitting to deal with his anger issues, according to reports. His name is sometimes misspelled as “Russel Crowe.”
Vanna White
Vanna White, who is the beloved hostess of Wheel of Fortune, has been seen knitting and crocheting on set. In 2016, she created some of her patterns and collaborated with yarn companies to have her on the label.
Kate Middleton
When she was pregnant with her first child, Prince George, she took up knitting to relax. She’s not the only member of the English Royal Family who knits, the late Queen had knitted since she was Princess Elizabeth.

Robin Williams left us too soon. He is remembered for his comedic genius, and rightfully so! Although he played many iconic roles, his debut as Mork in “Mork and Mindy” is especially memorable for avid knitters.

A star of “Sex and the City”, Sarah Jessica Parker, enjoys knitting on set in her spare time. When Good Housekeeping asked her how she relaxes in 2006, replied with “I read, watch TV, or knit. Although I try to do all three at the same time which usually results in dropped stitches.”

She designed a line of knitting needles with the company Premier Yarns. It makes sense she’s a knitter!
Krysten Ritter
Krysten Ritter, who plays Jessica Jones, is an avid knitter. She not only designed a line of knitwear for We Are Knitters, but also attempted (unsuccessfully) to teach Stephen Colbert how to knit on The Late Show.
